Monad Testnet is the pre-production network for Monad, running chain id 10143 with MON as its native token. It mirrors mainnet’s MonadBFT consensus and EVM-equivalent execution, so contracts and integrations can be exercised against realistic behaviour before deploying to chain 143. Test MON is available from a faucet.

Testing against Monad Testnet
Because the testnet runs the same consensus and execution model as mainnet, a contract exercised here behaves the way it will on chain 143. Timing-sensitive marketplace logic — auction end times, settlement deadlines, cancellation windows — can be tested against real block arrival.
Test MON comes from the faucet, and the testnet is the network to deploy to before anything is promoted to mainnet.
